When we act as Principal Contractor, the day-to-day running of the job sits with us. That means fewer calls for you to make, fewer firms to chase, and one point of contact who knows exactly where the project is.
As Principal Contractor, DSE Construction Systems takes full responsibility for planning, managing and co-ordinating the construction phase of your project. You deal with one contractor, and we deal with everything else.
We run the site, manage every trade, keep the programme on track and make sure health & safety is handled properly from mobilisation through to handover. That includes the construction phase plan, site inductions, risk assessments and method statements, and the paperwork clients and housing providers expect to see.
Every project is overseen by Daryl Allen MCIOB, a chartered construction professional with over 15 years running sites and delivering projects, so there is always a qualified, accountable person in charge.
A clear, organised approach so everyone knows what is happening and when.
Step 1
We review the scope, drawings and site, agree the programme and prepare the construction phase plan before anyone sets foot on site.
Step 2
Site set-up, welfare, inductions, materials and trades are organised so work starts on the right footing.
Step 3
We manage the site day to day, sequencing trades so each one follows on without gaps or clashes.
Step 4
Work is inspected as it goes, with health & safety records and quality checks kept up to date throughout.
Step 5
Snagging is closed out, the site is left clean and you receive a full handover pack.
